AGM REPORT 3rd Feb 2013

Last years committee is still in place. Just like the rest of the country we have been dogged by uncertainty for over a year. The weather has not helped, double booking by land owners and getting information to put on the web page was difficult.

The financial climate is very tight for everyones family budget. We have tried sending texts to those we have numbers for. Yes cancelling an event just as you loaded up is not helpful and we apologise, but that's how quickly we got the message from the C.ofC. who had picked up the canes, driven 50 miles and found it double booked.

All that is behind us, the committee do apologise but they have worked hard. The HOT LINE is still in place if you can volunteer with some of the work it would be helpful.

We have a program of proposed events which will be confirmed on 24th Feb.

24th Feb 2p.m.Afternoon Social and presentation at the Roe Cross Inn. Carvery laid on but prior booking for numbers needed. So ring, text, or email to Hazel.

Colin Gaukroger is negotiating with one of our land owners for Easter. Paul Atkinson has volunteered to set out the C.C.V. which will be fantastic, he is a very good respected driver. More details on the 24th Feb. Other officials will be announced at that time.

Scrutineering – Very lively discussion.

The new Green Books are out, come and get yours on the 24th Feb.

Spats are a must covering the wheels Front & Back by 120 degrees for all Comp. CCV. RTV. There is also confusion over the use of hand brakes and type. We will un-confuse A.S.A.P. details and sketches of what is required will be available.

Your comments with regard to all the above are very welcome. Lancs and Cheshire is open for business.

There is a link for this years National in South Wales organised by Wye & Welsh on the ALRC web page. www.alrc2013.co.uk Hope to see you there.
